For the past ten years, Carolyn has focused on working with survivors of trauma. Due to her personal and professional experience, she has a special interest in addiction and working with impaired professionals. The addiction field is changing in response to neurobiological advancements and understanding of developmental trauma. Carolyn is passionate about assisting individuals who have suffered from prescription drug abuse rebuild their lives. She has a trauma informed approach to therapy and utilizes a range of modalities including DBT, NMT, and CBT.

Carolyn loves spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs. She also enjoys traveling and watching documentaries.
